living isn't living if you're the queen
now that two-timing midterm day is over, i can admit to myself that i am sick. my response to this is none other than the "bed rest" recovery system.
my bio ta tried to send me home during lab today. i think my persistant coughs scared the botonist right out of him. i told him i had already missed my "one" and thus, needed to stay. besides, how else will i learn about the anatomy of parasitic worms? or, if on the final, the professor has a slide of a hydra digesting a daphnie, and asks what the name of the preditor is, how will i know if i wasn't in class the day we witnessed the catastrophic death? how will i know of the "skeleton" of a sponge is made of cilica or calcium carbonate? my point exactly.
speaking of lab, shorts are getting so short. this girl was wearing a pair cut to there. luckily for her, she can sport them.
i lost my phone twice today. and, luckily for me, found it twice also. but not without the help of a certain coworker... both times. hahah.... i mean, not funny.but while searching for my phone, i ran smack into my boss (maybe not smack, but i've been avoiding him lately as he tries to coerce me into working all the time, so any running into can be construed as smack). before i left campbell, i had signed up for two more shifts. goddammit. one of which my job will be, he claims, to keep him from killing the performers. oh goody. a crap show. i guess i can't be "out of town" every weekend for the rest of the quarter... and weekday too. i'm just lucky i pushed off the other shifts, also.
and to polish off my day, a giant bowl of nevada county green. that'll be good for my lungs, which, this very morning, expelled a fine piece of phleg-m, the exact details of which i will spare you. but it made me want to hug porcelin, that is for sure. and the coloring... not so good. i'm just hoping that today has brought on the worst of the infection. IMMUNE SYSTEM do your job.
