when the sun comes up, i miss the moon

i can feel myself going into that periodic state where i can feel everything in my life beginning to change, so my automatic response is to retreat into my world and let it happen with as little participation as possible. i can smell it on the wind.

i have a *study date* tomorrow. i'm not going to say with who or what class or any of those pertinent facts that will narrow down the selection that the vultures of 6718 will inevitably have lined up, but i am kinda excited abuot it. but i don't really know what we're going to study, being as it is the first day of the third week of class. i guess there is material. i say this like the quarter isn't almost a third over already. oh how the time flies when you're watching the sky.

i have come to the realization that my poooooor and loved bike may be a distant memory. it has been abandoned on campus for over a week now, just a few days after the accident that did it in. i have to walk it to varsity tomorrow to see if the ol' man won't give it a whorl. i'm pretty sure i'm just goign to sell it back to him though and put that money towards a new (to me) bicycle. what i am thinking is that, being as it's nearing hte end of the year, all those seniors should be shedding their two wheelers like an outer layer of skin shortly, enabling me to pick up one of their loved items of transportation for a much cheaper cost to myself. i'm not sure. i don't really know. we'll see. otherwise, i'm a foot/bus bound mama for the rest of the quarter. isn't that a dreary prospect.

marissa just told me alex knows of an abandoned plethra of bikes somewhere. get that man over here. i'm going to get him to get me a bike for free.
