my head. it's so fuzzy. that haze i sorta kicked out of my life has come back strong and hard. more importantly, yesterday, after i got out of lab, is equally as hazey. days like that always seem kinda dreamlike, although i've had worse, as the days you wake n' bake are always worse, but still. i guess it was no solvang. it was no nudie beach. but i went to hillel? weird. and there were a series of sober people, also weird. although that kid last night was funny, very funny. and he liked the history channel, so, he wins in my book. but the whole going to hillel is weird. anyway.

successful day, i would say. and i aquired a new crush as all attempts to get mike to smoke failed, oh so miserably. i guess that's fine. every man to his own. besides, he thinks i'm weird for eating my lunch while looking for whales. bitch, you go to school here. the ocean is probably one of your deciding factors. i know when decision time came, you looked at the folders and thought, "davis. well, good bio program. ucla is ... uptight. santa cruz is pretty, but OH MY. look at that folder sb sent us. a picture of the campus. and the lagoon. and the ocean. i'm goin there." therefore, live up the reason why i chose this place? and where else on campus can you watch the idiots at goleta state beach swimming out to the end of the pier. maybe if i'm lucky, i'll see the shark that eats them, too.

and, you know. the whales are kinda running, i guess.
